Investment Data Analyst

You will have the following responsibilities

As we build our CIO Office, we are looking for an investment data analyst who can connect crypto market knowledge with practical data and software skills. Reporting to the CIO, you will work with Research and Investment Strategy to turn raw data into signals, portfolio analysis and tools that support one investment view across the firm. You will operate across on-chain or market-structure signals, model portfolio risk or analytical workflows within our investment platform with a focus on reliable feeds, reusable indicators, model and benchmark histories, and clear outputs.

This role suits someone who enjoys testing ideas, building useful tools in short iterations and improving them as the investment process develops. You should be comfortable wearing many hats as you work across research, data, portfolio analytics and tooling. Equally important is your ability to engage in constructive debate, learn alongside colleagues and bring confidence without ego.

Responsibilities

• Source, clean and combine selected on-chain, spot, derivatives, ETF, macro and portfolio data
• Develop and test investment signals and indicators across market regimes, liquidity, positioning and risk, with transparent assumptions and checks against look-ahead bias and overfitting
• Build maintainable Python and SQL workflows for data ingestion, quality checks, calculations and recurring analysis
• Help develop our investment platform’s data and analytics components, including versioned model inputs, House View evidence, benchmark and target histories, and outputs for dashboards and reports
• Calculate model portfolio returns, exposures, drawdowns, contributions, drift and liquidity measures for model portfolios
• Support the translation of investment views into model allocation proposals and scenario analysis, working with Investment Strategy on methods, constraints and validation
• Work with the platform developer, Operations and system owners on data contracts and phased PMS handovers
• Produce clear charts, monitoring views and targeted analysis for Research, the investment process, advisors and client-facing teams
