Digital Channels Product Owner
About the role
As a technological leader in the fast-paced crypto space, we need to react quickly to changing market demands. Therefore, we believe in agile project management methodologies. As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in further building, implementing, and enhancing the digital channel landscape for both internal and external interfaces. Together with dedicated and skilled teams of developers, solution architects, UX/UI designers, scrum master and subject matter experts, you will be responsible for improving the client satisfaction on various fronts. You will have the following responsibilities
- Define, manage, and proactively drive various Epics in the digital channel landscape, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Engage in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as from Client Management and Compliance departments to identify their business needs and prioritizing them into your backlog
- Dissecting high level business needs from your stakeholders into requirements that meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) standard by the development team, thereby making use of requirement engineering techniques as needed: prototyping, design sprints, process flow diagrams, user story mapping, writing of acceptance criteria or test cases
- Taking ownership of Epics with an end-to-end mindset: from planning it at the quarterly Big Room Planning with the dependent teams high level up to it’s release to the production environment
- Responsibility for our internal user groups for system related questions, troubleshooting or bug management as well as internal education on new features
- You will be contributing to the backlog of various development teams by providing them ready-to-work on business requirements fulfilling the Definition of Ready (DoR) standard of the teams
- As Product Owner involved with a key suite of systems, you will be working across the company with stakeholders from all departments and all seniority levels
What you bring along
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Information Technology or another subject that is closely related to the nature of this role
- Previous experience in a Product Owner, Project Manager or Business Analyst role. Exposure to systems that manage internal or external processes in a highly regulated industry (e.g. CRM, booking- or trading system, client onboarding system, eBanking,…) is appreciated
- Experience in the Swiss financial services industry and certifications in the areas of scrum, project management, business analysis or requirements engineering are a plus
