Business Operations Custody & Staking Specialist

About the role

As part of our Custody & Staking Team within Business Operations, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of timely, high-quality services towards our internal and external customers. You’ll be working closely with the Relationship Managers, Traders, Developers and Accountants of Bitcoin Suisse. In this role, you are an important part of the backbone of an ambitious company in a highly interesting and dynamic environment in the heart of Crypto Valley in Zug.

You will have the following responsibilities

  • Management of crypto custody setup
  • Processing client payment orders (deposits & withdrawals) in crypto and fiat
  • Processing staking orders
  • Monitoring and processing staking reward payouts
  • Supporting Account Managers, Relationship Managers, Traders and Developers
  • Reporting tasks for Management, Audits, Finance Department, etc.
  • Ensure Risk and Legal requirements in processes
  • Day-to-day liquidity management on BTCS own fiat & crypto holdings
  • Contributing to projects and new initiatives as a Subject Matter Expert
  • You take business ownership for internally developed systems in close collaboration with our developers and product owners
  • Basic knowhow about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology is a plus

What you bring along?

  • Experience in the financial sector and Middle-/Back Office (bank, insurance, financial service provider)
  • University degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of PowerPoint and other office tools
  • Dedicated and responsible personality with strong team-player attitude
  • Diligent and conscientious working style and able to stay calm in hectic situations
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Open to work on weekends and evenings. The team you would be part of supports our clients during these hours 7:30-21:00 every day, including weekends. The shifts are split between the team to cover these hours. There is a morning shift (7:30/9:00 -18:00), an afternoon shift (13:00-21:00) and a weekend shift (10:00-17:00). What shift you work is decided between the team on a weekly basis.
